    that narrows it down ALOT

usually good airsoft pistols run a little moar than 30
    but tell yah what
if the barrell is rifled(fer accuracy)
and the fps is decent (like, 300+, i mean, i have a full auto, full metal m4 dmr from echo 1, and it shoots like 390-410, and its wayy overpowered, so anything above 300 is ok)

then you got a good gun
(btw, look for the heaviest one there. realistic feel=ftw plus its less likely to break)
id suggest checking online on sited like rap4 (thats the real shit, training guns and stuff)

or going to a local hobby store or check for legit airsoft places. they got all the answers JJ

Spring pistols made by HFC are made of metal and are probably will be the best brand you will find in the spring pistol world Luke

The first is a bit over, and I’m not sure if they carry the middle two, but they’re something to look for. Dmitri

I remember when I got my first airsoft gun. All I wanted was this cheapo crosman pistol. Now I am looking into AEGs from Echo1 for much more money. Pistols are a good way to get into airsoft, but once you’re hooked you’ll want something with more kick. Unless you don’t do battles. Look on at some of the pistols they have. Some are only around $15 and are pretty sturdy. I still use a UHC that I got on shorty for $12!

Oh sorry I didn’t realize you wanted one from Dick’s. In that case just get the one with the highest fps. Todd

Don’t buy a spring airsoft pistol. If you like pistols i highly recommend a Crosman C11 CO2 pistol its a little more expensive ($50) but it will last you longer in the long run, I currently use it as a sidearm and have for over 3 months and the CO2 cartridges are very cheap. If you are really set on a spring then I reccomend a Smith & Wesson m4505, it is the same company but newer model of my first ever airsoft gun and since it is metal it will last a long time, unfortunately it costs slightly more then you want to pay ($35) so if you cant save up the extra money just go ahead and purchase a Colt Double Eagle its the highest fps you can get in a spring pistol for under $30.

If a spring airsoft pistol is what you want, then just go over and have a look at the various models in the store or online. Just pick the one you think looks coolest or the most comfortable. Spring airsoft pistols that you buy from sporting goods stores do not have a large variety in performance or reliability. They will all function about the same so just pick the one in your price range that you like the best. Play safe. Will
