Because it does. Doctors make decisions on what insurance companies want. That is just plain wrong. It also causes problems for people who are self employed and have huge deductibles and pre existing conditions. Look at the whole picture. lawgirl

As long as you have money, then you have access to the greatest health care in the world. Leaders from all over the world come here for the health care they can purchase. Some Americans are goofy enough to think they should be able to get health care, too. Pretty selfish of them, huh? Answer the Question!

Really. I have Insurance and can’t get a Dr for my daughter.
I have to travel 3 hours from my home in Central California to the Bay Area and come out of pocket for her Old Pediatrician who switched over to Kaiser.. I am in the Medical Field and can’t afford Kaiser.
Kaiser is $45,000 per Year for a Family of 5 without Co Pays or Medications.

I just listened to a news story about Canadians coming across our border for medical attention that they would have to wait months for in Canada. Now the Democrats want to jail people that do not buy Health Insurance. That makes sense. In my state of Ca. we spend about $80,000 a year per on inmates and have been ordered by the courts to release 40,000 of them because of crowed conditions. This is not about Health Care. It is about control and Socialism.
Here is the bigger goofiness from the Democrats. Obama and the Democrats keep telling us that 46,000,000 cannot afford Health Insurance. So last week Senators Boxer and Kerry introduce another “Cap and Trade” Bill in the Senate that would raise our home energy bills by 90 percent a month and raise gas prices at the pump by 58 percent. So if we can’t afford Health Insurance how can we afford nearly a 100 percent increase in electricity charges and a 58 percent increase in gas tax. The lunatics are running the asylum. ohbrother

Democrats think that anything run by private industry sucks. Only those programs run by the government are worthy of their praise. Isn’t it just odd that when world leaders need health-care, they come to the U.S. Not Canada, not Britain, not France. They come to a country that has market based health-care…..not government run health care. Remember the Shah of Iran and King Hussein of Jordon?
Frankly, we didn’t have a health care crisis until we allowed 15 million illegals into this country. Go to ANY emergency room in a large urban area and you will find it filled with illegal hispanic immigrants. Don’t believe me? Go visit one. They don’t have insurance, and we pick up the tab. Before you trot out the racist charge, I have many friends who are hispanic……and they are ALL illegal. I fix their computers for free, as my service to humanity. Zebra
