My fiance is pregnant and is currently living in Canada, if she moved to the US, the health care she would receive is our only concern. Would she still be treated with Canadian health care or would she need to apply for medicare, etc?

I am 42 and work for a fuel pump manufacturer. We have a company provided health care insurance plan. We pay a reasonable amount a month for coverage. Now I am worried that this plan has passed, I will lose what I have now.

Also, ive heard some people have poor access to private medical insurance. Is this true and are there any other problems with the health care system?

if my cousin(canadian) marries her american bf will she lose her health care coverage here permanently? and how would marriage affect her canadian status?
a long distance relationship is difficult but before she agrees to move there she wants to know how her canadian health care would be affected. The other option is for him to move here, but he has strong family ties. In Clinton’s Health Care plan she included giving free health care to illegal aliens. The health care plan is an important effort for the benefit of American Citizens and will provide a healthier more productive workforce but it will be paid for with tax dollars. Illegal Aliens should NOT be included in the medical benefits. They have been taking advantage of our system long enough; why pass a law that gives them the legal write to do so?
