My concern is about people who only have Medicaid, but not Medicare. At present SC Medicaid imposes a limit of 12 per fiscal year in the number of visits to the Doctor and a limit of 8 to the Chiropractic. Also there is a limit of 4 medicine prescriptions per month per patient.

I really love my grandparents, and if this health care plan is not going to benefit them, i’d like to know so i can tell them about it. Because they voted for obama during the election. So if someone can give me a valid answer of how this will affect senior citizens, i’d appreciate it.

Lets keep in mind that France is 1/5 the size of the US. Switzerland 1/38 and Germany about 1/4.

If you pay for private health care in Canada, do you still have to pay taxes to support the government’s health care program? I’d like to know the gist of universal health care in Canada.
On a semi-related note, does anyone know how much money is spent per year per person for health care in the United States? This is including all government and employer financed insurance programs, etc.
