I personally know of 4 who will now be able to get Health Insurance and are very happy about this Democrat win. How many do you know who are happy they will now be able to get Health Insurance again? How many rank and file Republicans are quietly celebrating the passing of Health Care Reform?

I have been watching the news lately, and I have seen all this stuff on how Republicans wat to appeal the health reform bill. I just don’t get why they ae so against it. Don’t they want Health Care reform? Could someone just explain to me WHY they want to appeal the bill? Thanks!

Then you refuse to pay the fine. Will you go to prison? What if you die and haven’t paid for the health Care, will our illustrious leaders try to claim payment from your family?

If every American could be afforded health care coverage, how much if any would you be willing to sacrifice on an annual basis?
Would it affect your decision if savings would come in the long term (5-10 years) or short term (1-5 years)?
In your response I am asking that you include a dollar amount.
Ten responses and none would be willing to pay add’l dollars to save in the long term. None would be willing to pay an extra $ a year for universal coverage.

In today’s NY Times, Gov Peterson of New York says the state will have to cut health care and education because of a $12.5 billion deficit. Other states are also facing worsening fiscal conditions. The states are just mirroring the federal problems – there is no money to pay for old programs, let alone start new ones in the worst recession in 70 years.

Before fixing one problem you need to address another problem. The Debt and lack of available money. I support Universal Health Care but the current financial structure would not be able to support it. I do not find this a realistic goal and what the country needs now is cut backs not expansion.

In other countries that have socialized health care, they pay 1/2 of their income in taxes. Do Americans really think they will be getting free, anything?

If poor people die because they have no health care won’t that make our country richer?

We are not running a charity in this country how dare they dream of equals rights to health care!!

Universal Health Care is a MUST for our futures. Anyone who disputes this can afford health care and/or doesnt want to help out other people and is completely selfish. I’ve seen some of the debating, but I’m confused by it all. I thought Hillary Clinton had good ideas, but now Im starting to wonder if she is actually going to follow through. So… Who do YOU think is the best candidate that will give us Universal Health Care, and why?
